 Within Literacy lessons, we focus all of our work around a text. This means that all of our reading and writing that we do, is based around the characters and the settings that we are learning about. Below is a little information about what we have been up to in Literacy! The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis

We will be completing a range of extended writing based on the text, including a diary entry from the perspective of Lucy, a character description of the White Witch and an informal letter to Edmund from his siblings. In our build up to our piece of writing, we will be focusing on the Year 4 writing objectives. We will also use this text to answer a range of comprehension questions.
