At St John's, we believe that we are all part of one family and that all children have the right to access the curriculum and participate in the whole life of the school, irrespective of any additional needs which they may have. The Special Educational Needs and Disability Coordinator (SENDCo) is responsible for managing and coordinating the provision necessary to achieve this.
We are aware that the Coronavirus situation and the closure of schools is unsettling for all our children, but particularly for those children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disability (SEND). During this time, we will be providing resources on this page which you may find useful. Please check the site regularly for updates. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact the SENDCo, Mrs Hickman, by email via the school office (office@stjohnsrc.rochdale.sch.uk)
If your child receives support from Rochdale Additional Needs (RANS) team, then you can continue to access support by phone on 01706 926400 or email at rans.admin@rochdale.gov.uk They have extended the telephone helpline (9am - 4pm Mon-Fri). Email responses will be made during normal working hours.
