Sacramental Programme

The Sacramental Programme (First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion) is open to baptised Catholic children in Y3 and above. Some children in Y4 and Y5 may have missed out on the programme over the past two years due to the lockdowns; these children are eligible to participate in the programme this year.

The dates of the programme can be seen below. It is necessary for the children to attend mass with their parent/carer on each of the Sundays in the programme, when the preparation units will be covered. School will also provide preparation work for the children, matched to each of the units as they are covered in Sunday mass.

Programme dates:

Presentation of the children: Sunday 7^th November 2021 9.15am Mass

Christingle: Sunday 28^th November 2021 3pm at St Gabriel’s

Unit 2: Sunday 23^rd January 2022 9.15am

Unit 3 Sunday 27^th February 2022 9.15am

Unit 4 Sunday 20^th March 2022 9.15am

Celebration of First Reconciliation at St John’s Thursday 24^th March 2022 7pm

Unit 5 in preparation of First Holy Communion Sunday 1^st May 2022 9.15am
