Year 2 children learning about fossils

Year 2 have been working hard during music lessons.  The have practised playing the ukulele and have even taken part in a music festival to show their wonderful talents to the whole school and parents.

Year 2 have been learning all about the famous Great Fire of London during their History lessons.  They have worked hard to create a scene for the fire that has been used for role-play session and encouraged them to write excellent re-tells of the story.

We designed and made our own African necklaces, as worn by the Maasai tribe in Kenya.

The children enjoyed making and wearing their creations!

This was part of our topic on Kenya.
